Digital Content License and Use Policy

Effective Date: March 23, 2026

This Digital Content License and Use Policy applies to digital products, online courses, instructional materials, downloadable files, study guides, workbooks, planners, coloring books, lab books, worksheets, assessments, videos, graphics, certificates, career resources, templates, and other digital content purchased from, accessed through, or provided by Barrett Pharmacy Technician Certification Academy LLC, referred to in this policy as the “Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

By purchasing, enrolling in, downloading, accessing, receiving, or using Academy content, you agree to this policy and any additional terms displayed on the applicable product, course, or service page.

1. Ownership of Academy Content

Unless otherwise identified, all Academy digital content remains the intellectual property of Barrett Pharmacy Technician Certification Academy LLC or the applicable content owner.

Purchasing a digital product, enrolling in a course, or receiving access to Academy content does not transfer ownership of the copyright, course curriculum, instructional methods, certificate designs, graphics, assessments, written materials, videos, templates, or other intellectual property to the purchaser or student.

The purchaser receives a limited license to use the content according to this policy and the terms stated on the applicable product or course page.

2. Individual and Non-Transferable License

Unless a product page or written agreement expressly provides different permissions, each digital product and course enrollment is licensed to one individual purchaser or one specifically registered student.

The license is:

  • Limited

  • Non-exclusive

  • Non-transferable

  • Non-sublicensable

  • Intended for individual educational, study, career-development, or professional-reference use

  • Subject to the restrictions contained in this policy

One purchase does not provide access for multiple students, family members, employees, clients, classmates, coworkers, schools, employers, pharmacies, or organizations.

When a digital product or course is purchased as a gift, the license may be assigned to the specifically identified recipient. It may not later be transferred to another person.

3. Permitted Individual Uses

Subject to the applicable product terms, an authorized purchaser or registered student may:

  • Access purchased course content through their individual student account

  • Download files when downloading is made available by the Academy

  • Save reasonable backup copies of downloadable products for personal use

  • Print a reasonable number of copies for their own individual study

  • Write in, color, complete, or customize materials designed as workbooks, worksheets, planners, lab books, or study activities

  • Use purchased materials to prepare for pharmacy technician coursework or certification examinations

  • Use completed materials as an individual professional or educational reference

  • Display a certificate that was legitimately issued to them

  • Include an Academy certificate of completion on a resume, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, job application, or professional profile

  • Provide a copy of a legitimately issued certificate to an employer, school, certification organization, state agency, or other appropriate party for verification

  • Share a direct link to a publicly available Academy webpage or blog post

Permitted use does not include sharing the underlying file, course access, assessment questions, answers, or proprietary materials with another person.

4. Course Access and Account Security

Online course access is provided only to the registered student.

Students may not:

  • Share their login information

  • Allow another person to access the course through their account

  • Complete lessons, quizzes, assessments, or assignments for another student

  • Ask another person to complete course requirements on their behalf

  • Sell or transfer course access

  • Create additional accounts to avoid purchasing separate enrollment

  • Copy or distribute course materials outside the course platform

  • Use automated tools to download, collect, scrape, or reproduce course content

  • Circumvent access controls or technical restrictions

Students are responsible for protecting their account credentials and promptly notifying the Academy if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.

The Academy may suspend access while suspected account sharing or unauthorized access is reviewed.

5. Lessons, Videos, and Instructional Materials

Academy lessons, videos, presentations, demonstrations, instructional documents, graphics, examples, practice activities, and supporting resources are provided for the registered student’s individual use.

Students may take personal notes and use the materials for their own education.

Students may not:

  • Record course videos, tutoring sessions, presentations, or instructor communications without written permission

  • Post screenshots or recordings of paid content

  • Copy lessons into another course, website, workbook, presentation, or training program

  • Present Academy lessons as their own instruction

  • Teach or distribute Academy curriculum to a group

  • Upload the content to a classroom portal, shared drive, employer system, or public website

  • Use Academy materials to operate a competing training or tutoring service

Brief references to general concepts learned through the course are permitted. This does not authorize reproduction of the Academy’s original wording, lesson structure, graphics, assessments, or instructional materials.

6. Assessments, Quizzes, and Answer Materials

Assessment questions, quizzes, knowledge checks, practice examinations, assignments, answer explanations, grading materials, and instructor feedback are confidential educational content.

They may not be:

  • Copied or photographed for distribution

  • Posted online

  • Shared in study groups, forums, social media pages, or messaging groups

  • Sold or included in another study guide

  • Uploaded to question-sharing or homework-answer websites

  • Used to create answer banks

  • Provided to future students

  • Entered into an artificial intelligence system for the purpose of generating or distributing answers

  • Used to misrepresent a student’s individual work

Students may use their own completed assessments and instructor feedback for personal review within the access provided by the Academy.

The Academy may invalidate an assessment, withhold course completion, or revoke access when academic dishonesty or unauthorized sharing has occurred.

7. Study Guides, Workbooks, Planners, Coloring Books, and Printable Resources

Downloadable study guides, drug resources, workbooks, planners, coloring books, worksheets, cheat sheets, lab books, and other printable materials are licensed to one purchaser for individual use.

Unless the product page states otherwise, the purchaser may print copies only for their own individual study.

The purchaser may not:

  • Print copies for classmates, students, coworkers, employees, tutoring clients, or organization members

  • Sell printed or digital copies

  • Distribute the original file

  • Share the download link

  • Upload the file to a shared folder or website

  • Bind, publish, or reproduce the content as another book or workbook

  • Use the content in a paid course, tutoring package, subscription, or membership

  • Remove Academy branding and claim authorship

  • Translate, adapt, or reformat the product for resale or distribution

  • Use print-on-demand or commercial printing services to manufacture copies for sale

Purchasing a printable product does not include commercial printing, resale, classroom, or organizational reproduction rights.

8. Drug Lists, Calculations, and Pharmacy Reference Materials

Medication information, calculation exercises, terminology resources, law summaries, workflow examples, and pharmacy reference materials are licensed for individual education and study.

Purchasers may not reproduce or distribute these materials as:

  • Independent pharmacy reference products

  • Employee training manuals

  • Classroom handouts

  • Tutoring materials

  • Continuing-education content

  • Mobile applications

  • Websites or databases

  • Flash-card products

  • Commercial study guides

  • Artificial intelligence datasets

  • Products for sale or subscription access

A purchaser may create personal handwritten notes or flash cards for their own study, but may not sell or distribute those derivative materials when they reproduce substantial Academy content.

9. Certificates of Completion

Academy certificates may be displayed and used only by the person to whom they were officially issued.

The recipient may print reasonable replacement or display copies of the same completed certificate.

Certificates may not be:

  • Edited to change the recipient’s name

  • Edited to change the course title

  • Edited to change completion dates or training hours

  • Transferred to another person

  • Reproduced as blank templates

  • Used to issue certificates to other people

  • Sold or distributed

  • Used before the applicable course requirements have been completed

  • Altered to misrepresent certification, licensure, registration, employment qualifications, or examination results

An Academy certificate documents completion of the applicable Academy program. It may not be presented as another organization’s professional certification, state license, registration, or credential.

The Academy may correct or revoke a certificate issued because of inaccurate information, academic dishonesty, account sharing, or failure to meet the stated completion requirements.

10. Career Services and Customized Career Materials

Career Ready services may include resume editing, LinkedIn profile assistance, interview preparation, and job-search planning.

Students may freely use the final personalized resume, cover letter, job-search plan, or similar document created specifically for their own career search.

However, Academy-owned templates, instructions, checklists, examples, training materials, evaluation methods, and career-development resources remain Academy content.

Students may not:

  • Resell or distribute Academy career templates

  • Provide the templates to other job seekers

  • Use Academy resources to offer resume-writing or career-coaching services

  • Remove Academy branding from proprietary materials and present them as their own

  • Share another person’s confidential information with the Academy without authorization

The student remains responsible for confirming that all personal, educational, employment, certification, and professional information included in a career document is accurate.

11. Tutoring and Instructor Support

Tutoring sessions, guided support, assessment reviews, written feedback, email explanations, and personalized instruction are provided only to the student who purchased or received the service.

Students may take personal notes during tutoring or support sessions.

Students may not:

  • Record audio or video without prior written permission

  • Invite additional participants without approval

  • Share meeting links

  • Publish transcripts or screenshots

  • Sell or distribute instructor explanations

  • Use tutoring sessions to collect material for another course or tutoring business

  • Request completion of coursework or assessments on their behalf

Instructor support does not include authorization to distribute Academy content.

12. Prohibited Uses

Unless the Academy provides prior written permission, Academy content may not be:

  • Resold

  • Redistributed

  • Given away

  • Sublicensed

  • Shared with unauthorized users

  • Mass produced

  • Commercially reproduced

  • Posted publicly

  • Uploaded for group access

  • Translated for distribution

  • Modified and sold as an original product

  • Submitted for copyright registration by another person

  • Used in a misleading, fraudulent, or unlawful manner

Changing the wording, colors, design, file format, layout, organization, or branding does not provide permission to resell or distribute the content.

13. Schools, Employers, Pharmacies, and Organizations

An individual purchase does not include classroom, employer, pharmacy, workforce-development, group, institutional, or organizational use.

Schools, employers, pharmacies, healthcare organizations, instructors, tutors, workforce programs, and other organizations must obtain written permission or purchase an appropriate group license before providing Academy content to multiple individuals.

Uses requiring separate permission include:

  • Enrolling multiple employees through one student account

Requests for group, employer, classroom, or organizational licensing may be submitted to Hello@barrettpharmacyacademy.com.

14. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Technology

Academy content may not be uploaded, copied, scraped, or supplied to an artificial intelligence system, automated content-generation platform, or dataset for the purpose of:

  • Training or improving a commercial model

  • Reproducing Academy materials

  • Generating a competing course or study product

  • Creating assessment answer banks

  • Producing substantially similar materials for sale

  • Building a commercial pharmacy education database

  • Removing or replacing Academy attribution

  • Distributing protected content to other users

Students may use general-purpose technology for personal accessibility, organization, or study assistance when it does not expose proprietary content, assessment questions, answers, student information, or instructor materials to unauthorized users.

Students should not submit confidential personal, patient, employer, or pharmacy information to an artificial intelligence platform through an Academy activity.

15. Free and Publicly Available Resources

This policy does not prevent users from sharing a direct link to a publicly accessible Academy webpage, blog article, free checklist, or public resource.

Free availability does not automatically grant permission to:

  • Republish the full resource

  • Remove Academy branding

  • Upload the file to another website

  • Add the resource to a commercial library

  • Sell the resource

  • Use it as a lead magnet for another business

  • Distribute it as part of a course, membership, or tutoring service

Any additional permissions stated on a free resource apply only to that specific resource.

16. Product-Specific Terms

A course page, product page, service agreement, group license, or other written agreement may provide additional permissions or restrictions.

When product-specific written terms conflict with this general policy, the product-specific terms control for that purchase to the extent permitted by law.

Permission granted for one product or course does not apply to another product or course.

17. Refunds and Digital Access

Refund eligibility is governed by the Academy’s posted Refund Policy and any product-specific refund terms displayed before purchase.

Digital access, course enrollment, tutoring services, downloadable products, and personalized services may have different refund conditions.

Nothing in this policy limits a consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

18. Suspension and Termination

The Academy may suspend or terminate access when it reasonably believes that a student or purchaser has:

  • Shared an account

  • Distributed course content

  • Copied or posted assessments

  • Resold a digital product

  • Engaged in academic dishonesty

  • Misused a certificate

  • Circumvented access restrictions

  • Used Academy content to create a competing product or service

  • Otherwise violated this policy

The Academy may also:

  • Revoke the applicable content license

  • Disable compromised login credentials

  • Remove a student from a course

  • Invalidate affected assessments

  • Withhold or revoke a certificate

  • Request removal of unauthorized content

  • Submit intellectual property complaints to websites, marketplaces, hosting providers, or social media platforms

  • Pursue other remedies available under applicable law

Termination does not authorize continued possession, reproduction, resale, or distribution of Academy content.
