Barrett Pharmacy Technician Certification Academy is a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program.
Successful completion of an academy certification training program meets PTCB’s recognized education pathway requirement to apply for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam, or PTCE.
PTCB separately determines examination eligibility and awards certification. Course completion does not guarantee examination passage, employment, state registration, or licensure. Students should also review the pharmacy technician requirements for the state where they plan to work.

Apply separately to PTCB, complete its eligibility process, pay the applicable examination fee, and take the PTCE at an approved testing center.
National certification and state pharmacy technician registration or licensure are separate from academy enrollment.

The academy was created to provide focused, accessible training for students who want to enter the pharmacy field without completing unrelated college coursework.
