PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program

Barrett Pharmacy Technician Certification Academy is a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program.

This recognition is an important credibility marker for students preparing for pharmacy technician certification. Our program is designed to support foundational pharmacy technician knowledge, including medications, pharmacy law, patient safety, pharmacy calculations, prescription processing, quality assurance, and pharmacy workflow.

Completion of the program helps meet the education requirement to apply for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam administered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Certification is not automatically granted by completing the course. Students must apply through PTCB, meet current eligibility requirements, and pass the required exam.

Completion of training does not guarantee exam passage, employment, state licensure, registration, or certification approval. Certification and state requirements are determined by PTCB and applicable state boards of pharmacy.
